Analytics
I’ve been working with web analytics for almost 20 years and my target is to deliver metrics to your business that will help you to build your digital presence. I am currently configuring Google Analytics 4 using Google Tag Manager as the current version of Google Analytics will not process new data from July 1, 2023.
If you have an eCommerce website, then sales revenue is a good indicator of success but it is also important to measure engagement with the website (views of products/questions/subscribes) to see which strategies lead to possible future sales.
For non-transactional sites, putting a notional dollar value on contacts/subscribes/page engagement is an easy way to assess the relative performance of channels and campaigns.
Once analytics configuration is complete, then I use Google Data Studio to build dashboards to display your key data
The image below is from a client I have worked with for many years. Their traffic is seasonal which accounts for the month to month variations for the trend of the rise in organic traffic is consistent over the pest part of a decade.
With a focus on analytics to identify what works and a superb content strategy, we have been able to keep increasing organic traffic year on year.
